After a coat of VMS gloss varnish, it's time to put the gear together and get the aircraft onto their wheels.

I thinned some Abtelung Starship Filth oil paint with odourless thinner and painted it into the panel lines and left it to dry.

When the wash had dried, I removed the excess with some paper towel.

With the tailplanes cleaned up, the rest of the aircraft was next.

To fit the tailplanes, they need splitting in the middle of the elevators.

The tailplanes fit nicely with glue going in after slipping them in. I did afd some Tamiya thick glue to ensure all the gaps were filled.

The main gear legs are next. The leg fits to the door. This is awkward but looks OK when done. The wheel has a seperate hub which fits real nice.

The tailweel was painted in the relevant underside colour wwith the tire painted black.

I painted glue into the recess and round the leg before slipping it into place.

The legs go on next. These are bit of a nightmare. Theyy are basically but joins and are a pain to get to fit, so after the first resorted to superglue.

Then it's onto the wheels.

The next step will be to built the propellers and get everything together.
