The next job is to fit the engine and then do the few little jobs to finish the model.
The engine is a single part which was painted black and dry brushed with aluminium.
This is glued into the nose.
The cowl ring can then be glued into place.
Dry fitting the propeller gives and idea of how it will look.
There are a pair of exhauts for the underside of the fuselage. These were painted a burnt iron sort of colour.
I decided to replace the plastic pitot tube with brass. Some 0.7mm tube was glued into some 1mm tube.
The radio mast was glued into place.
With the pitot and radio mast painted, the model was sprayed with VMS matt varnish. EZ-line was used for the radio wire. Then the cockpit masking was removed and the propeller added for the final time. And that completes the model.
