I dowhnloaded an STL file for a Pnzer 38(t) and printed a couple with my Ender 3 FDM printer.

The 38(t) was a Czech designed tank which was taken over by the Germans just before World War 2 Stetred.

The STL files were obtained from Wargames3D and are designed for resin printed really. But they worked well enough with a FDM printer using PLA filament. The layer lines weredn't too visible on vertical and horizontal faces, but showed up a little on slopes. To fill these, some Humbrol filler was applied and sanded. This was followed by a couple of coats of spray filler with sanding between. To finish, some filler primer was used. Lifecolor paints were used for colour. Decals came from a set of 1/72 Panther decals which were about the right size.

One tank was painted Sanld Gelb (yellow) to represent a DAK vehicle.

The other tank was paihnted Panzer Grey to represent an early war vehicle.

The exhausts were paited with Lufecolor gun grey reflective. Humbrol rust pigment was then dabbed on to rust them up.

The fiurst turret I printed was supported whcih gave the rough effect.

Some layer lines are still vivible but these are wargames models so it's goo enough.

The tracks were painted Vallejo metallic black and dry brushed aluminium.

Some sand pigments were dabbed on to give a little weathering.

The turrets are loose to allow traverse for gaming.

For this turret, I edited the STL to remove the gun and after printing it was replaced with some brass tube.
