There are quite a few bits for the cockpit but having built a Mk.1 which is similar, shouldn't be an issue.

Construction starts with the central frame. This has an armoured plate which the seat attaches too.

The seat is made from a back and base which gets the sides attached. The height adjuster fits on the right side.

To fit the Yahu instrument panel, the detail needs removing with a sander.

The instrument panel attaches to the front frame. The compass fits under this.

The floor controls are next. This has a pair of foot pedals. The controkl colum is made of two peices.

I was going to leave the seat off it's frame until after painting but changes my mind.

The cockpit parts were sprayed with Lifecolor grey green. When dry, they were masked to spray Vallejo Metal Color aluminium. This was sealed with some metakl sealer.

Some wash was made from Abtelilung starship filth oil paint. When dry, the cockpit was dry brushed.

The Yahu instrument panel was attached using some PVA glue. It looks a bit thick, and with hindsight, I possibky could have left the plastic kit part off and attached this direct to the frame.

Details were picked out with some black paint.

The Eduard seat belts are next. These are made up of pre-painted steel.

There are a pair if lap belts which were attached with some PVA glue. I'll attach the shoulder belts when the cockpit is assembled.

Detail parts were painted black and then attached. Some knobs were painted white.

The front frame and floor controls were attached to the left side wall and the right was attached.

The front firewall, seat frame and rear frame go in next.

The shoulder belts were attached next with some PVA.

A support bar was attached between the rear two frames and painted, completing the cockpit module.

It will be onto the fuselage and wings next.
